1. Who we are
Mutter Partners AG ("Mutter", "the Company") is a company limited by shares incorporated under Swiss law, with its registered office at Neugasse 23, CH-6300 Zug, Switzerland, registered with the Commercial Register of the Canton of Zug under UID CHE-327.310.104.
The Company was established in 2013 and operates as a family office.
2. Regulatory status
Mutter is SRO-Member VQF – an officially recognized self-regulatory organization (SRO) according to the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
Mutter Partners AG is a financial intermediary in the para-banking sector within the meaning of Art. 2 para. 3 of the Swiss Federal Act on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (AMLA). The self-regulatory organisation is VQF Financial Services Standards Association (Verein zur Qualitätssicherung von Finanzdienstleistungen), General-Guisan-Strasse 6, CH-6300 Zug, which is officially recognised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA. Member no. 100035.
This affiliation concerns compliance with anti-money-laundering obligations. VQF supervises Mutter Partners AG in respect of its duties under the AMLA. Mutter Partners AG is not itself authorised, licensed or supervised by FINMA, and neither FINMA nor VQF approves, endorses or guarantees the services described on this website.
3. Activities requiring authorisation
Mutter Partners AG holds no authorisation under the Swiss Financial Institutions Act (FinIA) or any other Swiss financial market act, and carries on no activity for which such an authorisation is required. Its articles of association expressly exclude activities subject to authorisation under Swiss financial market legislation.
In particular, Mutter Partners AG is not a portfolio manager or a trustee within the meaning of Art. 17 FinIA, a manager of collective assets within the meaning of Art. 24 FinIA, a fund management company within the meaning of Art. 32 FinIA, a securities firm within the meaning of Art. 41 FinIA, or a bank within the meaning of the Swiss Banking Act.
Accordingly, Mutter Partners AG does not manage individual portfolios, exercises no investment discretion over client assets, does not provide investment advice in respect of financial instruments, does not accept deposits from the public, and does not establish, offer, distribute or manage collective investment schemes.
Where Mutter Partners AG acts as a corporate body, board member or authorised signatory of a company or structure, it acts solely in that capacity and on the instructions of the beneficial owner or their appointed representatives. It exercises no independent investment discretion.
4. What we do
Mutter Partners AG provides family office services to entrepreneurial families and their companies. These comprise the formation, administration and day-to-day management of companies, including directorship and corporate body mandates; administrative support and financial planning; coordination of banking relationships, relocation and succession planning; and assistance in selecting and coordinating advisers, banks, lawyers and other specialists.
5. What this website is, and is not

The services of Mutter Partners AG are offered only in jurisdictions in which they may lawfully be provided. The information on this website is not directed at any person in any jurisdiction where its publication or availability would be contrary to local law or regulation, or would subject Mutter Partners AG to any registration, licensing or authorisation requirement in that jurisdiction.
7. No guarantee of outcomes
Mutter Partners AG gives no assurance or guarantee as to the outcome of any matter on which it is engaged. Statements on this website about growth, results or the benefit of particular structures or jurisdictions are general in nature, reflect circumstances that may change, and are not a prediction or a promise of any particular result.
8. Third parties and network partners
Mutter Partners AG works with an external network of banks, lawyers, notaries, tax advisers, licensed trustees and other specialists. Where a matter requires services that Mutter Partners AG does not itself provide, it will refer the client to, or coordinate with, an appropriately qualified and, where applicable, licensed third party. Those third parties act on their own responsibility, and Mutter Partners AG accepts no liability for their advice or services.
9. Accuracy of information
While Mutter Partners AG takes reasonable care in preparing the content of this website, it gives no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness or currency. Content may be amended, suspended or removed at any time without notice, and Mutter Partners AG is under no obligation to update it.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Mutter Partners AG excludes any liability for direct or indirect damage, consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of data arising out of or in connection with the access to, use of, or inability to use this website, or from reliance on any information contained in it. This exclusion does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, nor to any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory Swiss law.

12. Confidentiality and anti-money laundering
Mutter Partners AG treats client information as confidential. Confidentiality is subject to the Company's statutory and regulatory obligations, in particular its duties of identification, clarification, documentation and reporting under the AMLA, and to any obligation to provide information to a competent authority, court or self-regulatory organisation.
13. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
